Wladyslaw Czachorski

Wladislaw (Ladislas) Czachorski, along with Josef Brandt and Alfred Wierusz-Kowalski, was the most appreciated and renown representant of Polish artists society in Munich.
Czachorski started his education in Warsaw Drawing School (1866-1867), then continued in Dresden (1868) and Munich (till 1873) under Hermann Anschütz, Otto Seitz, Alexander Wagner i Karl Piloty.
In 1879 settled in Munich where took part in II World Art Exhibition in Glaspalast and was awarded a golden medal for the painting ” Actors with Hamlet”.
Czachorski was widely renown and appreciated during his lilfe, being member of Munich Kunstverein, Berlin Art Academy, and honorary professor of Munich Academy.
